Terms of Service

Akhdemny is a delivery and local marketplace app in Qaha, Egypt. You order from local restaurants and stores, and our own drivers deliver to you. These Terms govern your use of the Akhdemny app. By using the app, you agree to them.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Akhdemny. By using the app you confirm that you are an adult and that the account details you provide are accurate and kept up to date.

Your Account

You sign in with your phone number. You are responsible for keeping access to your account and phone secure, and for activity that happens through your account. Please give us accurate name, phone, and address information so we can deliver your orders.

Ordering and Pricing

Item prices and the delivery fee are shown and confirmed at checkout before you place an order. Akhdemny calculates the delivery fee by zone. At least one endpoint of the trip — either the pickup or the delivery address — must be within our service area, because that is where our driver fleet is based. Stores and drivers may decline items that turn out to be unavailable, in which case you will not be charged for those items.

Payments

Cash on delivery is the primary payment method: you pay the confirmed order total, plus the delivery fee, in cash when your order arrives. You are responsible for paying that confirmed amount. The app also has an in-app wallet; wallet top-ups are verified manually by our team before the balance is credited.

Cancellations and Refunds

You can cancel an order before the store starts preparing it or, for buy-for-me orders, before the driver starts purchasing. After that point, cancellation is limited because work or a purchase may already be under way. When a refund is due, it is credited to your in-app wallet.

Marketplace Role

Akhdemny lists third-party stores and restaurants. The store is responsible for the quality, accuracy, and safety of the items it offers and prepares. Akhdemny's role is to operate the platform and deliver your order with our own drivers. If something is wrong with your order, contact us and we will help resolve it.

Acceptable Use

Use Akhdemny only for genuine, lawful orders and deliveries. Do not misuse the app, interfere with its operation, attempt to access other users' data, or use it to harass drivers, store staff, or other users. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used for fraud or abuse.

Limitation of Liability

We work hard to make Akhdemny reliable, but the app is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by Egyptian law, Akhdemny is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for issues caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date below and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Akhdemny after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms and your use of Akhdemny are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
